Hay Fever Remedies For Children
Today I shall share a couple of easy to make hay fever remedies for children. Hay fever, or popularly known as allergic rhinitis, is a common allergic condition which causes sneezing, watery eyes, itchy throat, a blocked, itchy, or runny nose.
Hay fever is caused by an allergic response to airborne substances such as pollen or other allergen, triggering an allergic response.
Here are two simple remedies to help you or your child relieve the symptoms of hay fever/ allergic rhinitis.
Warm Honey Lemon

Studies have shown that honey contains trace amounts of bee venom, which is clinically used for the treatment of allergic diseases such as bronchial asthma. Honey contains certain pollen grains, which often have a certain resistance to pollen allergy.
Fresh lemons are rich in Vitamin C, a natural anti-histamine. 1000 mg of Vitamin C a day will help you reduce the occurrence of allergies.
Ingredients:
2 fresh lemons
250-300 ml pure honey
Preparation:
Rinse the fresh lemon, rub it with salt for a while, then rinse it off, dry it, cut into thin slices, put it into a glass bottle.
Pour in the honey and soak it overnight in the refrigerator.
Method:
To serve, take 3-4 pieces of lemon and add warm water.
**Note: Babies under one years old should not be taking honey at all.

Omega 3 fatty acids are found naturally in fish oil and are commonly thought to be anti-inflammatory nutrients, with protective effects in inflammatory diseases including asthma and allergies.
Go ahead and take more omega 3 fatty acids rich food such as sardines, salmon, flax seeds and walnuts during meals, or as snacks. It will help reduce the severity of your allergic reaction.
